There is No Medication that can give us a New Identity.

There is no drug that can change a bitter or broken heart. They can help (doctors prescribe) but it is only the restoration that comes in knowing God and the incredible reasons we are here right now that can begin to show us who we really are and the beauty and wonder that we are ultimately made of.

When I think of the pain and struggle it took, not only for me but for many others whether the Human-Trafficking of Sex-Slavery (Soul-Assassination) or any other violent debauchery done to us (our souls; the will, mind and emotions) as children it is very difficult to wrap our brain around it in order to heal. Especially when it grows in us as children it becomes embedded in our DNA on a cellular level as well as deep in our brains.  I mean, the young sisters I see prostituting on the street that are 18-30, most got there as kids and now many have given up on them assuming they have chosen their life's work. There is no such thing as teen-age prostitution-this is the reason for the rape law in the first place.

Dr. Caroline Leaf -

"87% to 95% of the illnesses that plague us today are a direct result of our thought life. They affect us physically and emotionally. The average person has over 30,000 thoughts a day. Through an uncontrolled thought life, we create the conditions for illness; we make ourselves sick! Research shows that fear, all on its own, triggers more than 1,400 known physical and chemical responses and activates more than 30 different hormones. There are INTELLECTUAL and MEDICAL reasons to FORGIVE!"

Sometimes people will say that a person is "special" because they are obviously emotional and uptight about things that really don't warrant that amount of stress. Unfortunately,  survivors of abuse often will go through this type of period especially in situations that to them-are stressful and sometimes the abuse has created a type of 'post traumatic stress syndrome.' Albeit to say that sometimes the individual does not even realize it. In others, they never dealt with the abuse they had as children and are now taking their "dysfunction" as a way of life. Even as part of their identity-and I am here to say. WE DON'T HAVE TO.

The pain, dysfunction, hard-times, and struggles of the great individuals below, still did not stop them from becoming who they were meant to become.

Harriet Tubman was an African-American abolitionist, John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy, often JFK, was the 35th President of the United States, Sojourner Truth-Abolitionist,  Frederick Douglas-American social reformer, orator, writer and statesman,   Abraham Lincoln-16th President of the United States, Nelson Mandela-South African politician and author, these prestigious persons and others went through various forms of profound pain to reach their goals-and for victims of human-trafficking, we also have to. However, that does not mean it can't be rewarding day to day - it is all a matter of our perception  - of what we are doing and why we are doing it. In addition, in our ability to SEE the outcome by FAITH. We must learn to OWN IT - whatever it is and day by day go beyond.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

I realize that some of the people above may not have had it as hard as others and some worse and two men above were killed trying to stand up for the freedom of others.

The BREAKING POINT of how much pain is different with each of us. And we have to realize that sometimes we pass that breaking point trying to endure and get through things without getting the HELP we need.
